#1 New York Times Bestseller
With extraordinary access to the West Wing, Michael Wolff reveals what happened behind-the-scenes in the first nine months of the most controversial presidency of our time in Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.
Since Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States, the country—and the world—has witnessed a stormy, outrageous, and absolutely mesmerizing presidential term that reflects the volatility and fierceness of the man elected Commander-in-Chief.
This riveting and explosive account of Trump’s administration provides a wealth of new details about the chaos in the Oval Office, including:
-- What President Trump’s staff really thinks of him
-- What inspired Trump to claim he was wire-tapped by President Obama
-- Why FBI director James Comey was really fired
-- Why chief strategist Steve Bannon and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner couldn’t be in the same room
-- Who is really directing the Trump administration’s strategy in the wake of Bannon’s firing
-- What the secret to communicating with Trump is
-- What the Trump administration has in common with the movie The Producers
Never before in history has a presidency so divided the American people. Brilliantly reported and astoundingly fresh, Fire and Fury shows us how and why Donald Trump has become the king of discord and disunion.
More Praise for Fire and Fury:
"Holter Graham, a Baltimore native, actor and veteran audiobook narrator, delivers [this] truly bizarre tale of dysfunction in a composed voice. Where a less confident narrator might have allowed a smirking note to emerge, Graham maintains his poise, subtly picking up the narrative's mood in slight modulations of tone and unobtrusively freighted pauses." — Washington Post
“Essential reading.”—Michael D’Antonio, author of Never Enough: Donald Trump and the Pursuit of Success, CNN.com
“Not since Harry Potter has a new book caught fire in this way…[Fire and Fury] is indeed a significant achievement, which deserves much of the attention it has received.”—The Economist
Editor's Note
Media firestorm…
This inflammatory behind-the-scenes take on the Trump White House caused an uproar even before it was published. Read the book everyone — and we mean everyone — is talking about.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Revealing and believable - a credible warning about the state of our Republic. We are hostage to an ignorant reality TV personality who only cares about himself.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Complete garbage. Wolff and his pile of crap book are the epitome of stupidity.
The people who will find enjoyment in this book are that of the most ignorant and intolerant nature. I can only feel sorry for all of you brainwashed peons who think the moral compass belongs to the Democratic party and its donors. Truth, integrity, tolerance, morality, respect are all dead qualities within that party (D) and seemingly the voters whom represent it. Truly sad.2 people found this helpful
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book has aptly positioned itself to become the authoritative account to document, without significant political bias, the rationale behind a seemingly irrational modern presidency.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Excellent book. Loved every single minute and was sad when I reached the end. I look forward to the next chapters about the goings on in the White House.
And for the record - Michael Wolff does a superb job narrating this book!1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It's a lot of names if you're not into politics so It was a bit hard to follow. Also a little disheartening to know that after all that information this is still the state that our country is in.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The goal of my day today was to purchase and listen to this book. Halfway deep now and plan to revise my review later on this week. Glad it was added on Scribd. Saw it on Audible and also at my library in audio and Ebook form. Waiting list was 12 slots deep at library! It's worth every penny. We are no longer citizens of the USA, we are hostages in what was once our country. United Hostages of America.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Great Narrator, Gripping Story! Not sure how much of this is REAL, but I’m guessing more than half of it! Awesome book! Lived up to the hype!

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Not anything to get too worked up about -- if you were paying attention during the campaign and first few months of his presidency, you know Trump & co. already and got exposed to most of the stuff collected here. The value is in having it collected and organized and, in some cases at least, sourced and/or verified.
I'd give it a 3.5 if I could, but it's not a 4 in my book, as the saying goes. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow, I knew it was dysfunctional but this is a whole new level. Great writing and research!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Trump and his era appear to be examples of the Peter Principle and Murphy's Law working in tandem.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It’s interesting, puts things in perspective - I like the neutral views of the book though, I was pleasantly surprised to see it actually laid out the good, and the bad. Certainly motivated me to read Under Siege next.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Basically found out that everyone in the White House is clueless.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Book was well written. It’s nice hearing about the Trump presidency after the fact. It’s a lot more daunting living through all the chaos that this president has cost.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great Book, super funny and insightful, loved how the chapters we're designed....I would love for an updated book, feel like I am in the dark now as to what the current state is
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This dope hitched his wagon to the wrong news channel. Mostly vapid, hyperbole, if not flat out dishonest. People are so weirdly obsessed with Trump. It makes no sense. They will cover for a president who is a serial rapist and our current pedo in chief who diddles his own kids; no crime too repulsive or hypocritical for these scumbags to cover up, as long as they are affiliated with the “correct” political party. Sickening.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I borrowed Fire and Fury from the library and read only five chapters over the three weeks I had it. I was looking for something more substantial and factual but this felt more like one long “Psst! Hey, so and so told me...” I’m not saying that there is no truth to the book but it felt to me like watching a reality show and I really dislike reality shows. Yes, I realize this is where we are as a country lately but I want something a little different from my reading.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Entirely compelling and, at the same time, illuminating about how normal White Houses work, about how Trump’s White House largely doesn’t work, and about the workings of Trump’s perceptions of the relationships around him.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Fire & Fury isn't telling us anything major we don't know. Trump and his staff are a never ending shit show. Sure we get some new details that are disturbing, but not surprising. I was looking forward to this book because of the media storm and how much Trump wanted to prevent this from coming out. Then I started listening to it and saw Michael Wolff in a interview, while I do not doubt all the things in this book are capable of happening and probably did, when he was pushed to provide some kind of proof and to talk more about his process and resources, he kinda lost his cool. He should of provided better background information on himself, his resources, and when possible provide some proof and substantial facts to his claims.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Well written. Took so long to listen to that much of this information is now put of date with current US administration.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Pure fabrications. He acknowledges it in the book. It's as believable as Pinocchio.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Very detailed and informative. Matches history that we have heard.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5The person who wrote this book has been discredited and I agree with that.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was informative and if only half true has a lot to tell. We live in interesting times and need to be aware of what is going on.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Okay, I'm a little ashamed to admit it, but I thought this was lots of fun. ?Fun? in a gleeful, sleazy carnival way, but, given the train wreck the Trump administration has made of our government, they owe us some vindictive chuckles.Given the hoopla surrounding Wolff's book, I think it's a safe bet that most readers picking up ?Fire and Fury? are Not expecting (or hoping for) a thoughtful, nuanced analysis of the Trump administration. I certainly wouldn't have given it a second look if that orange buffoon hadn't pitched a fit and tried to shut down the book's publication ? what in the dickens were his minders thinking? I paid money to read what I anticipated would be a cheerfully lurid account of the sleazy carryings on of our leader and his minions in large part for the satisfaction of imagining Trump's helpless fury when the book sits at the top of the bestseller lists for weeks. Malicious book buying, you might say. And I have to say that my purchase didn't disappoint me on either count. Wolff's writing, while far from ?good,? barrels along irresistibly, from one travesty of politics and decency to the next. Judging by the number of errors I noticed ? repeated words, homonyms, etc. ? the publisher decided to skip proof-reading, so I assume the fact checking was similarly lax, but the sheer weight of the evidence, and also that much of what Wolff reports has already been extensively documented elsewhere, makes quibbles over the odd misquotation uninteresting. As I write this response, and unrelated to this book, the White House is trying to justify Trump's description of the countries whose immigrants he doesn't want as ?shitholes? by proposing that what he really called them was ?shithouses.? Because that would have been perfectly appropriate, don't ya know? The first year of the Trump administration has offered so many examples of mind-blowingly arrant idiocy, incompetence, and immaturity that Wolff can hardly do more than hit some of the highlights. He looks at Russia and Charlottesville, but doesn't touch on the hurricane response in Puerto Rico, the promotion of anti-Muslim activities, national security meetings held in the middle of crowds of diners on the Mar-a-Lago patio, etc. Still, what he offers, as he bounds merrily along, recounting one story after another of ineptitude and ignorance, narcissism and lack of principle, is more than adequate to instill dread and discouragement in the hearts of concerned citizens. Wolff spent more time than I thought necessary on Bannon (I read ?Devil's Bargain? not too long ago), but one consolation at his book's ending is Bannon's dismissal from the White House, and now, thanks to Trump's anger over Bannon's contributions to ?Fire and Fury,? Bannon is out of Breitbart as well. So perhaps we can hope that the ?alt-right? will have a little less direct influence on the fickle president. A hopeful thought to end on, anyway.
